...but in answer to the OP it depends upon a number of factors; age, size, condition, model (e.g.- a Stratoliner or Whippet will command a premium price), as I suspect that eighties IJ Stetson would go for more than a comparable hat, despite the lack of a leather sweatband, because it is an IJ Stetson. The thin ribbon, is it a Roadmaster? An Open Road? A Stratoliner? Does/did it have a lining? What info can be gleaned from the sweatband? Any sight of sweat or bug damage? All these things contribute or detract from a hats' value.

both hats are indeed eighties. yes, both hats have sweat stains. when i have better light, i'll take better pictures.

they are for sale. but i want the buyer to see what they are getting first.
