For sale is a fabulous 1930s three-piece double-breasted suit, styled by Brandon. The fabric is a wonderful mid-to-heavyweight navy blue wool with alternating white and red pinstripes. The suit is in fantastic condition -- no noticeable flaws -- and I hate to part with it, but I'm moving and need to cull my closet!

Very nice suit, but that most definitely not a size 40, which is a shame because that's my size . . . :(

A jacket with a chest circumference measuring 40" ≠ a size 40; a man with a chest circumference measuring 40" = a size 40. A numbered size jacket will *always* measure a few larger than the tagged size, with 2" - 4" being typical. Given the vest chest measurement of 38", this suit is a size 37-38.

That's a beauty.. If only a tad bigger. I am a 32 inch waist, and 40 chest, but sadly that vest is to small, like Guttersnipe said it's really a 37 to 38 fit.

Just out of curiosity is that shipping to the States only.
