Selling my new Simmons Bilt Roadster made of their well known Italian veg tanned horsehide.

I wanted a snug fit but have chosen too snug.

- standard collar
- antique brass hardware
- slanted zipped chest pocket left
- inside pocket on right side
- two hand Warner pockets (no zipper)
- traditional hand cuff
- no shoulder gussets
- buckle side adjusters

The lining is Halley Stevenson’s Discovery Black cotton lining. All black, not too thick, but not too thin.

Simmons Bilt describes on their page
“The Roadster has a trim shape, tapered sleeves, higher armhole, well fitting shoulders and the body tapering slightly to the waist. Featuring a single point top back yoke, buckle side adjusters, two front pockets lined in heavy cotton and one zipped chest pocket.”

It is size 40, I’ll reorder in 42.

This veg tanned leather is not treated, so it will take with what gets in contact. With sunlight it will develop a great orange looking patina.

i have worn it for 1 hour at home and there is no chance for me as the hem is too tight. Cannot wear it closed, which is important to me.

Unfortunately there are small dark marks on left back arm and right back. I don’t know from where it comes from. Must be from laying and measuring.
