Got this amazing jacket in Osaka, Japan at the Schott store. It's made exclusively for the Japan market, so even though it's tagged an XL, it really is a 42 and fits people that generally wear size US size L.

Beautiful black jacket, made of sheep/lambskin (wasn't sure if it was a translation issue but they said both in Osaka) and drapes beautifully. Super comfortable, single rider style, minimal styling, single back yoke, looks great with everything. No smoking household, no issues, it's basically unworn.

Honestly not sure how to answer your question. The label is all in Japanese, which I don't read. I bought the jacket in Osaka, Japan. Maybe can ask Schott where the jackets for the Japanese market are made if it's important? Quality is outstanding.

Did some digging and as best as I can tell this is made in Japan. No reason to think this was made in China; any Chinese Schott jackets being distributed for Schott international are tagged as being made in China, which this is not.

Ha! A rare classifieds ad I missed. Beautiful jacket. Frankly I’m tempted myself. From what I’ve read this is called the “west coast jacket” and it’s part of the 689 family. I’m curious about the hide? How’s it feel? Definitely a cool looking cut!

Feels luxurious! Has a soft hand and very flattering drape, but is thick sheep/lambskin. Really nice piece.
