FS Schott James Dean Motorcycle Jacket style number for this size 52 (fits like XXL 50-52), is JD-2 from 1985 in excellent condition. The Limited Edition JD-2 was a "Collectors Edition" produced in Steerhide leather with a Dynel pile collar (included is not the original collar but is from a SCHOTT jacket) and no belt with the jacket, though the jacket has belt loops to add the belt of your choice. These styles were licensed by the James Dean Foundation, be manufactured exclusively by SCHOTT. The James Dean Schott jacket is modeled after the LAPD California Highway Patrol style jackets of the 1950s, and were made in 1985 to mark the 30th anniversary of his death. This authentic line includes styles duplicating the original jacket James Dean wore. The JD2 (in Steerhide) has a removable collar, poly twill lining, belt loops, side laces, and aluminum hardware. For sale at $420 obo includes priority shipping in USA dispatched the very same day direct to your door. Very good condition to excellent . No rips, tears, holes, stains, or smells with minimal wear anywhere . I’ve even managed to fit a collar from another SCHOTT Jacket for that authentic look and it even smells like brand new leather, even though it’s from from 1985! “Unfortunately Schott no longer has the records from 1985 on how many jackets were made but all of the James Dean Collection were limited production. It was probably between 300-400 jackets”. Gail from SCHOTT RIP .
