This is an early, Angelo Blasi-era set, made by the original Sartoria Partenopea before the... acquirement of the brand.
Blasi-era Sartoria Partenopea suits are invariably ranked on the level of Kiton, Attolini, Brioni, etc. as attested by the piece that I am selling which is as stunning and complex piece of tailoring that I have seen or handled, by anyother maker.
Hand-sewn in a considerable degree (in my modest approximation), the blazer is made from a lightweight, breezy & warmly pure wool of light gray color with a hint of beige.
Fully lined & fully (though lightly) canvased. Three-button closure. Functional surgeon's cuff. Double vent back. Entirely pick-stitched. Etc.
The jacket is accompanied by the matching waistcoat of the same specs, although with more machine work applied in its construction.
⚜ CONDITION ⚜
While worn, little to no traces of usage on the outside. The lining is equally flawless & perfect except for tiny but lousy repairs around the edges of the inside pockets (not noticeable once worn, of course, but annoying nonetheless). Once taken care of, the blazer will, for all intents and purposes, be as new.
Vest, I don't think had seen any wear at all.
Making zero dime on this. Too large for me, unfortunately. Should make someone happy. This kind of clothes is art, plain and simple. Just looking at the jacket makes me happy.
