For sale is a very nice Remy Leather jacket, Made in the USA, tagged size 42. Unfortunately, it is simply too large for me. Based on the cut and measurements, I would consider this a 42 with a generous fit and potentially suitable for a 44, depending on the fit you prefer.
The jacket is made from exceptionally soft and supple navy blue lambskin, with contrasting cognac/tan leather on the collar and throughout the interior trim. The navy/cognac combination is particularly attractive and much more interesting in person than a standard black leather jacket.
It has a clean, understated blouson/sport-jacket design with a zip front, slash hand pockets, adjustable snap cuffs and a convertible collar that can be worn open or turned up. The back is nicely constructed with long vertical panels and minimal unnecessary detailing.
The interior is fully lined, with extensive cognac leather finishing around the inside collar, pockets and facings. Remy was known for higher-end American-made leather garments, and the quality of the leather and construction is apparent on this one.
Condition: Excellent overall condition. Leather remains soft and supple with attractive natural grain and only light evidence of wear. Lining and interior present very well. Please examine the photographs closely.
Size: Tagged 42 — I would call it a 42–44 fit.
