Bought this one a while back on eBay, but story of my life, it's a bit snug on me. I've had Steve Sellers replace the mouton, which was crumbling, with some of the nicest vintage mouton I've ever seen. He also replaced the pocket buttons, which were missing. Other than that's it's the same as when I got it (although the knits were replaced at some point, likely rather early on. Regardless, it's rock solid. Some stitch holes in the chest from where a patch and name plate once were (third picture), but that's typical of WW2 jackets. Also, the knits on one of the cuffs are starting to fail near the join line with the leather (fourth picture).

This is a great jacket for someone with a 39-40 inch chest (99-101cm). Asking price is $700, plus $20 shipping in CONUS, $50 shipping abroad.

Measurements:
pit-to-pit: 22 1/4" / 56.5cm
shoulders: 19 3/8" / 49cm
back: 25 3/4" / 65.4cm
sleeves: 25 3/4" / 65.4cm following the curve of the sleeve, 24" / 61cm straight down

I'm happy to answer any questions about this one, and to consider offers.:)

Nice think about NAVY M-422a in opposite to the A-2 still wearable.
Amazing how goatskin much better surveyed then horsehide.
