Master crafted in Japan, with official Toyooka Bag Certification. The leather is smooth to the touch, but has a firm structure. This is not a "smushy sack" bag. The color currently appears to have a "matte" finish (since it is new), but will develop a glossy luster as it ages and wears.

Hello, gang. I'm selling a NEW Leather Backback/Shoulder bag/Handbag hybrid. The brand is Totte-- made by a certified Toyooka bag company. A lot of the vital details are in the eBay link, but since FL members are little more discerning, please ask me any questions! Of course, I'll offer a special price for the FL members. Again these bags are new. Full grain. Chrome tanned in Himeji from US steers, antique aniline finished. However-- this is a chrome-tanned leather bag unlike any I've handled. The leather (currently as new) has a matte like finish and is super smooth to the touch. It is not like a super soft spongy chrome-tanned leather. In fact, it's very firm and keeps its shape even when the bag is filled up. How will it age? According to the manufacturer's rep-- it will mimic a traditional veg-tanned and get a patina. From my own handling, oils will indeed transfer to the leather pretty easily. So at the very least, it will get a glossy luster.
A note on the dimensions-- a Macbook Air fits perfectly. This bag will NOT handle a monster 17" laptop.
