haha thanks man did you part with your J-23 yet? now that was a thing of beauty
I did friend, when im wearing a jacket of that caliber if it doesn't fit like i want it got to go, but i got a killer j on order to replace. I went against stuart recommendation an i wont do that again, not a chance. The 44 would have been perfect for me, stupid me.

The 46 looked great though. What was the problem? My 46 is snug enough, maybe my particular one ran small, I dunno. It is a slightly older jacket and the leather is different from my newer LW. Stuart told me I could do a 44 but I have my doubts. Quilted lining too, perhaps that plays a role.

So the 46 has 20.5 shoulder and with 26 sleeves it made the sleeve a little to long bro, also i have about a 10 inch drop from chest to waist and the opening on the 44 would fit better. The 46 would actually relax more as it broke, now the 44 would have been fitted on me and as it broke/relax i believe would be a great fit.

My 46’s shoulders aren’t that wide. 19.5. Hmmm. And my pit to pit is 23.5.

I agree, the numbers on the current crop of 44s would be better. Your 46 would be a tad large on me. Obviously something changed in the last few years or so, other than the hide.

2016 - and I'm not sure if the Hunter's Plaid lining is available anymore either...

That date and the measurements better line up with my 46. My current 44s line up almost to the inch with my slightly older 46.

The lining is perfect for this color jacket. Home run all around.
