Levi's leather Trucker / Type-III jacket. Size XL.

⛏ INFO ⛏
Even though the competition has gotten serious during these past few years, earlier leather Trucker jackets by Levi's still reign supreme - and by far, at that.
This particular model is my favorite iteration of the style, as they nailed every single aspect just right. Beautiful, high-end jacket on its own, it is also entirely utilitarian as a piece of serious workwear. They had some truly talented people working on these. . .

Made from a beautiful, grainy, and by every definition, heavy full-grain leather, backed with a cozy, warm quilted lining suitable for the coldest weather. I cannot overstate how impressive this leather is.

⛏ CONDITION ⛏
Minimal, superficial signs of use. Just creases, is all. Flawless, pristine and perfect.

⛏ SIZE ⛏
Tagged as an XL. Oversized V pattern which can easily accommodate anyone up to an US 46. Roomy, but in a right kind of way.
• Chest width (armpit to armpit): 64 cm / 25"
• Shoulders width (back): 56 cm / 22"
• Waist width (max.): 55 cm / 21.5"
• Sleeve length (outside curve): cca. 63 cm / 25"
• Back length (without collar): 64 cm / 25"

Yo Monitor... any clue where it was made and roughly how old it is?

I see the primary label says "Cal USA" but am not sure if that applies to the company or the country of origin. Any idea?

No, sadly, there's no tag indicating a country of origin but all the other ones that I have had that were in this exact same style, were made in Italy. I am fairly certain this jacket is no exception because the way that the leather is treated is very characteristic of Italian tanning of the era.

According to the code on the tag, F 96, the jacket was made in 1996. F stands for Fall/Winter and 96 is, of course, 1996.
