Could someone tell me what leather/hide this is?

Mega-heavy cowhide. 1.8 mm - 2 mm in my estimation.

I’ve had this incredible jacket for a few months - I deep cleaned the leather of scruffs and marks, applied a layer of conditioner with white pigment, and a top coat of clear conditioner. I’ve worn it to all sorts of occasions and it surely turned heads!

Sadly, I have a strictly 3 jackets policy. And today marks a sad day as I received two jackets and decided to keep them both. My 3 jackets policy comes from my desire to wear the hell of my jackets - 1 cotton lined for warmer temp, 1 quilt lined for cooler temp, and 1 oversized for layering for cold snaps.

As I don’t plan to wear this beautiful CR as I used to, time for it to fine a new home and keep getting worn!

For measurements please see the beginning of this post. I’ve added pics of the cleaned up jacket as buyer will receive it. It still has the patina-ed look just cleaner!

I’m 6’ 74KG, 40 chest and 31 waist. This jacket will fit someone up to 33 waist but 30-32 would be optimal when zipped up.

£200 plus shipping cost. I price this a bit more than what I paid for as I spent literally a whole day cleaning it and conditioning it. This is a heavy jacket for CR at 2.6KG just on its own.
