For sale is the '30's Sports Jacket/Mobster model from The Real McCoy's sister company, Joe McCoy. I’ve had this listed on eBay for while, so I thought I’d try listing it here. Seeking $575 PayPal FF (shipping included in the continental US). Price is firm.
This jacket is from the old RMC regime and was made in New Zealand. The horsehide is very grainy and a bit thicker than current RMC jackets. There is terrific variation in the coloring and depth. There are small areas of moderate cracking on the shoulders (see photos 9 and 10), which I've been treating with Pecard's to prevent further development. These cracks do not penetrate the full depth of the leather. The lining shows no pilling or other signs of wear. I did have the main zipper replaced by Dena at GreatLeather.com. It runs far more smoothly than the original ever did.
