I'm putting my Himel Brothers Canuck Horsehide Jacket/Car Coat up for sale. This is an awesome piece but I've got too many jackets and need to clear some closet space. This was purchased new for $2,200, asking $1,750 + shipping.
Details of the jacket:
* Tagged a size 38, I would say this is a slim 38 or a large 36 (measurements below).
* Oil black finish Shinki Japanese horsehide.
* Lined in soft, non-scratchy Burgundy wool in the body, black cotton drill in the sleeves and corduroy around the armpits.
* Collar and back adjustment tabs are also wool lined.
* Vintage NOS melamine buttons.
The jacket is in good condition. It has been worn a bit but still in excellent shape. I've stored it on a wide, wooden coat hanger in my closet. Definately no strange smells or odours. I look after my gear.
Measurements taken with jacket buttoned and laid flat:
Chest: 19.5 inches pit-to-pit
Shoulders (between shoulder seams, measured straight across): 18 inches
Arms: 25 inches
Length (collar seam, straight down middle of back): 27 inches
Hem Opening: 19.5 inches
