I'd say this is around a 44 or a 46.
Really good crosszip motorcycle vests are extremely rare--as far as I know only Schott and Lost Worlds made them now; Schott's are more fashion orientated (lambskin, and expensive) and Lost Worlds are perfection... But INSANELY expensive!
Because these are so rare I was delighted to find this one, as I've been after one for some time.... And Vanson's products are top-notch, being built for actual riding. But, alas, this is a hair too large, and so it's here.
It is, as I said, extremely rare--Vanson no longer makes cross-zip vests, and this was produced in collaboration with Harley-Davidson. (Some of Vanson's most beautiful jackets have been Harley collaborations, like their Cycle King.) This is NEW and UNWORN--it still has the original Vanson keyfob with its unique production number attached to the main zipper.
As you'd expect from Vanson, this is beautifully made and packed with details. It features four functional zipped pockets on the front, together with a flapped change pocket. It has a decent sized wind-flap for warmth, an attached belt, and a very sturdy and functional front zipper.
The waist can also be adjusted by side zippers, like a B6 jacket; these are protected by the belt.
The jacket has a bi-swing back for perfect ease of movement. It has a quilted liner for warmth.
It is, again, NWOT and so is in absolutely excellent condition; I've noted the couple of very minor scuffs that were there from new in the pictures.
I have only seen one other of these jackets, so these are rare. How about $345, OR OFFER, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA? I'd also be very interested in a trade for a similar cross-zip vest, or a Lost Worlds black crosszip or Suburban (with cash added from me).
