Selling my Fine Creek Leathers Gilmour FCCO001 in size 44.
The Gilmour is Fine Creek Leathers’ flagship model and is relatively rare to find on the secondary market. It is a substantial 1930s-inspired car coat made from 2 mm heavyweight black tea-core horsehide. This is not merely front-quarter horsehide—the leather is cut from the whole side, including the rear portion, giving the jacket a particularly varied grain and character.
The jacket has developed abundant natural patina and beautiful character through regular wear. Despite the amount of patina, the construction remains sturdy and solid, essentially as strong as when new. It has plenty of life and mileage left.
The patination process is still ongoing, so the jacket should continue to develop additional brown highlights and character with further wear.
