Hi guys!

Like others I've been just a silent reader till now. Over the last 2 years I found here a lot of helpful information regarding our common passion. So thanks for sharing your knowledge with me!

With a heavy heart I am selling today my Field Leathers Racer Jacket in black shinki teacore leather. Eventually you know the jacket from Greg's IG or from the FL-thread. Follower of the thread might also know about the neck issue I‘m facing with it due to my body structure and sensivity. Please note that the latter is the only reason I’m offering the jackt for sale. I’ve love its leather, construction, and details. It’s a shame that it‘s just sitting in my closet. But the slight pressure it's putting on my neck drives me crazy only after a short time. So if you are looking for a perfectely executed leather jacket with a clean and simple design from FL, this could be your chance to avoid the long waiting time and save some money as well.

I have worn the jacket only a douzen times. At some spots the teacore is already popping through. I don't think I need to say anything about Greg's craftsmanship, it's well known here and the pics speak for themselves.

Spec:
Leather Teacore Black Shinki Horsehide
Hardware Brass
Lining Rob Roy Tartan
Inside pocket left
Bi-Swing
Kidney Panel

Measurements:
Size 38
Shoulders 16.9in / 43cm
Pit to Pit 20.9in / 53cm
Stomach/Abdomen 18.1in / 46cm
Back (Base of collar to Hem) 25.1in / 64cm
Sleeve 24.4in / 62cm
Hem 19.3in / 49cm

I’m 5'9" / 180cm, 76kg / 167Lbs. For me the jacket works perfectely with both just a tee or a sweater.

I‘m asking for 1000€ plus shipping costs via Paypal F&F. I’ll ship globally from Germany.

For reference – I’ve already done some business with Ole K. Vik (FCL Eric) & MojaveMan250 (FW Mulholland).

Please let me know if more info or pics are needed.

Thanks, Roman

Shame. I've seldom seen a more flatteringly fitting jacket, otherwise. I wouldn't gamble if I had this myself but if it ain't it... Either way, this ought to sell immediately.

Hi, I typically wear McCoy size 40 do you think this will fit? I’m around 173cm, 80 kg. Thanks

Hi! I can wear the rmc j24 tight fit in size 40 but only with a t-shirt underneath. Anyway it's hard to say, because I don't know your physique and how you like a jacket to fit. It would probably be best if you compare the measurements of your mccoys with the ones I gave you.

It fits too good hence the neck issue. Try popping the collar and look like Batman. Kidding (not really) but I wonder if other users will have the same issue or if it's a sensitivity thing. Perhaps the collar will ease up with enough wear... Or get worse.

Totally agree regarding the fit. Actually popping the collar reduces the pressure nearly complete. Unfortunately the style isn‘t mine at all. As my wife and a friend do not face the issue when wearing the jacket I guess it‘s mainly because of my sensitivity. In addition, I now believe that the neck opening is slightly too small for my thick neck.

Yeah I've had a similar problem on my FW Olive Journeyman. It's not a deal breaker for me but popping the collar does eliminate the problem. Plus I actually like the popped look. I think your FL would fit me really well although I'm training my neck regularly these days. I'm hoping my neck will eventually be thicker than my waist.

Okay. So what's stopping you from buying the jacket?;)

The hope that somebody else will buy it first so that I don't feel I have to haha. I own five used leather jackets now, all of which were purchased within the last month and a half. Fortunately I didn't make any major mistakes and they are all keepers so far. FL is on my radar! Bought this Nelco from the 50s first.

Nice one!

Yeah, I know what you‘re talking about. Since I've known the lounge, I've also bought a few jackets. Not in one month, but therefor more than 5. The whole mess started with the FL.

Btw - is that a rabbit in the pic? And what’s the thing behind you?

Thank you. That is a rabbit! I guess that makes the Fedora Lounge my rabbit hole. The thing behind me is a climbing wall I built with 2x6s and river rocks. Pretty ghetto but way cheaper than the average home wall.
