Selling an excellent condition Eastman Ostmann Luftwaffe flying jacket in size 42. Black veg tanned horsehide leather. I used this jacket less than 5 times. Asking $950 shipped

P2P looks more like 22.5" based on your photo. Or are there ripples in the jacket, and it reaches 23.5" when you flatten it out or something?

It reaches 23.5” when you flatten the jacket out. On the History Preservation website it also lists this jacket as having the same chest measurement of 23.5” for a size 42.
