Accuracy-per-dollar champion.
Bulova Super Seville Precisionist 262 kHz, gold tone with silver-white vertically brushed dial.
Excellent condition. Approximately 3 months of gentle use.
Includes:
Condition:
Bulova’s proprietary Precisionist quartz movement runs at 262 kHz and drives the seconds hand in a very smooth, near-continuous sweep rather than the typical one-tick-per-second quartz motion.
Bulova rates the movement for accuracy measured in seconds per year, so you get quartz-level precision with a seconds-hand sweep that looks much more mechanical.
Simple, accurate, distinctive, inexpensive to maintain, and easy to own.
The 37.5mm size works well on both men and women; the final two photos show it on a woman’s wrist.
I’ve also included an accuracy leaderboard for autonomous watches under $50,000 with no Bluetooth, GPS, radio, or internet-based time correction.
