All of the following are in pristine condition, and were purchased several years ago. They've mostly been taking up closet space for the last four.
First is a Barbour flat cap. It's made of waxed oilcloth, and repels water beautifully. It's listed as a size 7 1/4, but fits my 7 1/8 head rather snugly. It's in like-new condition, and retails for around $50 based on what I found online. I'm selling for $35.
Next is a gray wool flat cap from Paterson headwear. I purchased this in Cambridge a little over four years ago. It's lined with gray satin, and is sized as a 7/57/M. It fits me snugly, but slightly better than the Barbour. I don't have any idea what I paid originally, but I'm asking $40 or best offer.
I also have a Tilley T5. This is a size 7 1/2, but can be shrunk or stretched to fit a variety of sizes. All of the relevant paperwork included with the hat at time or purchase will come with it as well. I liked this hat a lot and it's great for traveling, especially in warm locales. These currently retail for $77, I'm selling for $45. (I apologize for the photos, they don't show the shape of the hat very well.)
Next, a Filson tin cloth packer hat. It's in their tan color, with a dark brown leather band. This hat repels water even better than the Barbour, and is probably my favorite of the bunch. On their website it retails for $50, I'm selling for $35 or best offer.
Finally, a custom felt from Jimmy Pierce Designs. I had this hat made from rabbit fur felt as a replica of Josh Bernstein's "Digging for the Truth" hat, and I really loved it, but have little use it now. It has a four-inch high crown and a 3 inch brim all around, and I've added a handmade leather band. It fits me slightly loosely (I'm a smallish 7 1/8), but not so much that it feels like it's about to fly away. Once again, I have no idea how much I paid for this hat, but between the hat itself and the band I think I have about $200 sunk in it. I'm selling for $150 or best offer.
All of the prices above include shipping in the CONUS and, if you send payment by PayPal, I can turn it around and have it shipped out to you within a day. Also, if you buy more than one I'll cut $5 for shipping.
I really want to get rid of all of these (need the space and the cash) so PM me with an offer if you see something you like but don't think it's worth the posted price. I'm willing to negotiate.
