FS: Aero 30s Halfbelt, super thick seal goat, Gabardine lining, size 40

Hello Gents,


I have to let go this beautiful and quite unique Aero 30s slim fit Halfbelt in seal goat.

Here are the specs:

- Slim fitting 1930s Halbelt in seal goatskin. Please select the thickest and stiffest skins available.
- Size 40 with 1-1.5 inch added to sleeves, 2 inches added to body length.
-Front and back must have the same length.
-Double leather (leather lined) button cuffs
-Two slanted handwarmer pockets lined with heavy brown corduroy, one breast pocket with nickel ball and chain zip, one inside pocket in the facing with stud closure.
-Jacket should be lined with olive Gabardine (B10 cloth).
-“Hangar and two Airmen” label, please
-1-2 inch leather facing on the inside bottom hem.
-Collar with throat latch and button closure.
-Nickel AERO zip and nickel side buckles.
-The zipper should end 2 inches above the jacket’s hem.
-OD green thread for all seams
-Jacket to be made by Vicki


The jacket is a perfect example of what Aero can do. It is virtually brand new and only worn on two occasions.

Why do you let it go? It's a perfect fit and a very unique jacket. I just don't get it. Why are there so many guys having jackets custom made for a hefty price only to sell them after a few times of wear?

The longer arms wouldn't work for me, but this is probably the best looking leather jacket I've ever seen. The goatskin is beautiful and I love that color. This deserves a trip back up to the top.

Wow, someone has to snap this up. If I were richer and the jacket slightly larger, it would be me. Grayland is right - one of the best leather jackets seen. To be fair to Jan, he does have quite a few jackets.

I'm very interested Jan. I'm 186 cm tall and 85 kilos. I generally wear a 42 in a suit. Would this fit me? What is the back length and front length?

What does it weigh? That's a key issue for me.

I don't think it would fit, Seb. I'm 186 cm tall as well, but 78 kilos and a 40 chest. My 1930s Halfbelt fits very trim, and it's based on a size 40. I asked for a trim fit, but with room enough to wear a sweater. Can't do this comfortably.
