Nice boots and a steel at $375. I would buy them if they were 9E. But I would not consider the boots to be Smokejumpers being built on the 55 last. More of a White's Legacy Boots.

back in the early days, as early as late 1990s and 2000s, in USA markets Whites didn't offer so many casual and dressy styles and leather options as they do now. it's dealers in Japan tried to be creative and had Whites try some new styles and broadened the customization flexibility. something like medallion toe cap, 55(SD) last on 6" and above height boots, specialty leathers, even Semi Dress built in Smoke Jumper last and triple leathers soles both of which Whites no longer offer

Although Whites now has lineups such as legacy or lifestyle catagories, I am not used to call these boots by the new names, Actually when I placed orders to Whites, I still specified a SMJP in SD last. Hahaha. But, technically, you're right these boots for sale here can be called "The original cruiser 350 toe cap" as it's what such a style is called on Whites website.

BTW, The photos are of a pair of SD with triple leather soles I had owned. they don't make these anymore as they had difficulty sewing through triple layers of leathers according to what they told me.

I been wearing White's boots or 20+ years. Original Smoke Jumpers, Smi Dress, Parkers, and just order a pair of Custom Smokejumpers through whites burgundy over blue horse hide on the 4811 last. If White's still offer a triple sole, I would have goon that route.
