Up for sale is a 60s Cal Leather CHP jacket in color black. No size tag, I wear a regular 38 in most leather jackets and this one fits me just fine, but still please see the detailed measurements at the end and use your own judgment.
The jacket is made of some of the heaviest hide you would expect by all standards and the build is a real beast. Moreover, as you can easily notice, what set this jacket apart is its monster-like startling grains, which covers all over. Correct me if I’m wrong, I think technically it might belong to “stretch mark”, which can be a highly sought after feature by some people, and you could find it on many Lost Worlds‘ heavy weight jackets. And I’ve tried very hard to best capture the beauty of them.
There’re a few things worth noting though, please read carefully:
1. I’ve already had this jacket professionally cleaned. But not sure what kind of leather product the previous owner has applied to it, it does still come with some smell of it, which feels like some oil or diesel based product.
I’m positive that there’s no odor or cigarette smell, but only this one.
2. The insertion pin of the main zipper has just started fraying, but it’s still usable and does zip up with some care.
3. One of the belt loops on the front has a small cut where it is attached to the body. It’s quite small and you probably wouldn’t even notice it, but still I feel obligated to disclose that.
Apart from those, everything else is in very good condition. The leather has some small scratches here and there from years of normal use, and some paint. All other zippers work flawlessly. And the lining is perfectly intact and clean.
Appropriate measurements:
Shoulder to shoulder: 17”
Pit to pit: 20”
Sleeve length: 23”
Back length (bottom of the collar to bottom): 22.5”
Asking for 280 PayPal Friends & Family shipped CONUS.
Thanks for your time and feel free to ask questions.
