Vintage Chicago Police Leather Jacket, 23.5” P2P
Authentic vintage Chicago Police leather jacket.
Heavy black leather and recently professionally dry cleaned and conditioned. Overall very good vintage condition with normal wear and character from age.
One of the top buttons has detached, but I have the original button and it will be included. I left it as-is rather than attempting a repair.
No tagged size that I can find, so please go by the measurements:
Pit to pit: 23.5”
Shoulders: 19”
Sleeve: 25”
Back length: 24.8”

Vintage Front Quarter Horsehide Cross Zip, Likely Excelled, ESKO Zip
Selling a vintage black front quarter horsehide cross zip, likely dating from the 1950s/60s.
The original maker label is no longer present, so I cannot definitively identify the manufacturer. Based on the pattern, construction and hardware, I believe it is likely an early Excelled, but I’m selling it as maker unknown rather than claiming an attribution I can’t prove.
The original “Genuine Horse Hide, Front Quarter” label is still present. Main zipper is ESKO.
Really nice old horsehide with plenty of grain and character. The leather is still supple and wearable. Feels as soft as my Schott 618 HH despite its age. Original belt is present, and the red quilted lining remains intact with no tears or rips. I haven't seen many jackets this old in this good condition! Please see the photos for the overall condition and wear.

Most likely a size 40 or 42.
