A Chinese brand based in Guangzhou in Southern China. Their products are made with top-notch materials sourced from Japan, USA, Europe.
I grew so interested in this brand recently and made multiple purchases.

Worn for just two days, the leather is easily broken in and with beautiful grain and texture.
This jacket were made absolutely beautifully, but the fit is too small for me. so here it is.

The detailed specs is as below:
- Maryam teacore horsehide from Italy
- Waldes repro vintage bell shape zippers and ball-chain zippers from Japan
- Riveted front zipper, the zipper cloth will never be torn.
- Harris Tweed plaid body lining from UK
- Asahi Kasei Bemberg satin sleeve lining from Japan
- YKK Permex snap fastener from Japan
- the hand-written font on the label is intentional, and spaces is left for the owner to write personal info on
a great touch.

Japanese sizing, size 42
shoulder seam to shoulder seam 48cm/18.75inch
chest between armpit to armpit 55cm/21.6inch
sleeve length from shoulder seam straight down to cuff 63cm/24.75inch
back length from neck seam to hem 63cm/24.75inch
hem width 51cm/20inch
If you're 42 in mostly Japanese brand such as Freewheelers, TRM Buco, Rainbow Country, Jelado etc.
It's basically your size.

I am surprised how well the jacket was made especially at such a price point of 500~600 usd.
It's literally comparable with $1500 plus counterparts from Japan, USA or UK

My asking price of $550 is including international free shipping.
Trackable regular Post Office Airmail
Paypal FF prefered, 4.5% extra for a Paypal invoice.
Ships from Taiwan.

As I ship from Taiwan, I am constantly asked about import tariff
It's required in my local post office (due to current US administration's tarriff policy) that the shipment be marked as a gift and declared for a value of no higher than $100. Therefore no import tariff will occur for personal and single-item shipments.

Hi, I know it's sold, but I'm still highly curious. How is the Maryam horsehide compared to Shinki's? To CXL? Is it the same hand feel as their boot leathers? Thanks! Beautiful jacket

No, boot leather and jacket leather are different.
Maryam teacore horsehide for jacket(at least this one jacket I've handled) is roughly 3oz, reasonably grainy, and breaks in more easily than CXL, and has a "teacore" that's more raw skinned in color, instead of brown
Shinki horsehide can vary quite a bit among different batches. some very shiny, some very smooth, some with crazy grain and wrinkles.

Another angle I think is worth mentioning is how I categorize my jackets by the experience they provide. For me, it’s not just about appearance or durability — it’s sensory. And yes, that includes smell.

It may sound trivial, but I genuinely enjoy wearing Shinki for that reason alone. The aroma is rich, deep, and unmistakable — it adds something intangible to the experience every time I put one on. It’s part of the ritual.

There’s also a clear difference in hand feel. CXL has a softer, more forgiving initial touch, while my Shinki jackets feel denser and tighter, almost more structured. That contrast changes how each one wears and how it feels throughout the day.
Well that’s my personal preference.
