FQHH Aero Chips and 50s Half Belt For Sale, Size 40 Long

Hi:

I am selling two FQHH Aero jackets. I am asking $550 for the Aero Chips (which is brand new) and $500 for the 50s Half Belt (which is almost brand new), plus shipping (I am in zip code 61201, W. Illinois) and paypal fees (about $15, I think).

The first is an Aero Chips FQHH jacket, size 40. It's measurements are pretty standard except I had it cut a little longer in the body than the normal Chips, which is a waist length jacket. My jacket is somewhat longer, at least on me. I am 5-9.

The measurements are:
Shoulder to shoulder: 19.25
Back length (collar seam to bottom of hem): 25
Sleeve (from shoulder seam to bottom of cuff): 25.25
Pit to pit (across front): 21

The Chips smells new and is new. I received it in January or February and have only worn it to try it on. I had it upgraded from the standard #5 zipper to a #10 YKK zipper, which I think makes it a real motorcycle jacket, not just a fashion jacket. The zipper was added by Great Leather in Avon, IL, which is the best jacket restoration place in this part of the US and there are no visible changes to the jacket except for the beefier zipper.

Here are some photobucket photos, as I am having a problem uploading to this thread.

For reference as to fit, here is the link to the Insurrection website. As indicated, my jacket is about 3/4 to 1 inch longer on me.

The second jacket is an Aero 50s Half Belt, also size 40. Again, the body length is cut somewhat longer.

The measurements are:
Shoulder to shoulder: 19.25
Back length (collar seam to bottom of hem): 26.5
Sleeve (from shoulder seam to bottom of cuff): 26.5
Pit to pit (across front): 22

I only have worn this outside on my short commute to work over the course of about a month. I wore it quite a bit inside the house when I first received it in an effort to break in the horsehide, and it now is really nice. It looks like it is going to show those dark brown tones as it ages, opposed to fading to grey on the contact surfaces the way some horsehide jackets do.

Here is the link to the photobucket photos of the half belt:

I am selling both because I now have a Johnson Leathers jacket similar to the Chips that is my go-to jacket and I am planning to order a Vanson, and I cannot justify (at least, according to my wife) owning so many high level leather jackets at once.

I will be glad to answer any questions. Please pm me or contact me via email, dixieina@aol.com. Thanks for looking.

Are you not able to get the photobucket photos to open? I tried them on about 3 different computers and they worked so I figured they were good.

Are they still making CHIPs jacket? How so it's not on their website?

Man, I would take the CHIPs instant, was it in the EU. This way, importing the jacket wouldn't make it worthwhile...

Yes, I was able to order it and Insurrection has the Chips on their site.

Is the 50s halfbelt black or dark brown? Hard to tell from the photos - on my monitor at least. Thx.
