Found a great book

Picked it up at Barnes & Noble for $15.00 It's called the "Gentleman's Guide to Grooming and Style" by Bernhard Roetzel. It's 355 hard bound pages that covers topics from undergarments to hair care to types of tobacco and more. Great book but it was made from a British point of view so all the shops are in London. I highly recomend it.

No the copywrite is from 2004 UK published by Barnes & Noble so I would guess it is not found any other place such as Borders.

Roetzel is German, but as mentioned writes from an Anglophile point of view. The book was originally issued by another publisher and now B&N has reprinted it. It's fantastic, and highly recommended. I've had mine for a couple of years and still refer to it often.

Yeah, I think I've seen it in B&N's bargain shelf section.

Another really helpful book is "Dressing the Man : Mastering the Art of Permanent Fashion by Alan Flusser" I picked up one at SteinMart and I've really enjoyed it.

This is still one of my favorite "go to" books when I need a refresher and one of my favorite "sit down" books when I just want to enjoy some great photos and information. Well worth the price paid...I think mine was in the $15-20 range. Still use the tips on the proper packing of luggage and ironing of shirts. Buy it...you won't be disappointed.
