Found a Fur Felt Flechet. Good buy?

So I was at my local salvation army, hoping for a good score and then came across a gray fedora in great condition, only able to spot 4 moth bites, 3 on the under side of the brim and 1 in the back, left side. It is made by Flechet with an accent over the first "E"

I bought it for $18 and as a bonus it has a feather! not that it adds much to it, and I may remove it. undecided....

I'm am far from an expert, but if the moth bites aren't bad and you can wear it now then I would say you did well. Does it fit?

Yeah fits perfect, Was also just kinda curious how much these generally go for? I cannot seem to find another one.

It looks nice and clean. Its value really depends on whether or not someone cares about those bites. What size is it? Larger sizes command a larger price, it seems. Keep your eyes on ebay if you want to zero in on a comparable hat. In the meantime, wear that sucker!

It is a size 7 1/8, I didn't really plan on selling though, just curious. Cant wait to wear it once the wind dies down. Lately its been so bad, I am afraid of it flying off my head, then looking silly chasing it down the street.

has anyone used a wind trolley? Do they work? And where are they attached on the hat?
