For sale ,Brand New , never worn Wesco 100th anniversary 1939 British Tan Engineer boots in 10,5D US size .
I bought these recently from USA and imported them to France, it cost me about 1000euros including shipment , custom fees and VAT but unfortunately they are a bit tight for my left foot . I suppose this sale is more for European buyers due to import taxes and shipment cost to Europe ,that will reflect in the price .
The toe box is lower than some steel toe Chippewa 27863 and Red Wing 2268 so I would suggest sizing them 1/2 size larger than your longest foot , than what you size for these models ,in the size where they fit you just the right size ( obviously if you use to wear them with 1/2 size too large os so, it is different ) .
I am 10,5 D for these two ( Chippewa size a bit larger than red wing for which 10,5 is just my size in RW and even 2mm smaller would be too short whereas I have a slight bit of room with Chippewa ) and would have needed 11 for those Wesco on my left foot and 10,5 on my right foot .
The quality of those Wesco is really great and they are not manufactured anymore as they were available only on pre order for a few weeks in September and very few are left for sale but not in this size and Width.
Some say their E width size like D width and D width size very slightly narrower than regular D width but I have not really felt any difference with Chippewa and Red Wing D width although I have thin feet.
I would like to sell them about the price I paid ( 950 euros ) for them as they are brand new and a very limited edition not available anymore , nailed down construction like Wesco used to made their boots since beginning until the early 80’s or so .
They have a really sleeker look than the stitched down ones they make nowdays due to this construction and the toe box is a bit taller than 7400 for the same reason.
