This is an unusual one, made by Harry Levinson/Courtney, I'd guess in the 1950s, but I could very well be off on that. It reminds me of a 1910s or 1920s style, with the brim turned up on the sides. The brim can be snapped down in the front and worn like a regular fedora, if one desires.
It's in great condition with only two small flaws that I can find. One is a small spot on the brim (pictured), not a moth bite, which might come off. The other is a little place where the welted brim has come loose, I would suspect this could easily be repaired with a needle and thread. Other than that, it just has a bit of light wear from being used in the past.
Size is 7 Long Oval, head opening measures 7 3/8 by 6 1/4 inches.
Brim measures 1 7/8 inches, crown is about 4 3/4 inches high.
This hat has a "Controlled Brim", which as I understand means the overwelted brim has a tube or wire underneath it to help the brim keep its shape.
Asking $75 shipped in the continental US, or best offer, for this one.
