FOR SALE - Taylor’s Leatherwear Police Jacket
Just checking to see if anyone here is interested before it goes to eBay. This is the last of my leather police jackets – which I would keep but it does not meet the current standards where I work. It is an older version of Taylor’s Passaic-model jacket – black leather, size 48 regular. The current specs are listed on their website as: Cowhide, 30" Length, Zip-Out Thinsulate Liner, 2-Inside "Stealth" Pockets, Side Zippers, Breast and Hand Pockets, and Bi-Swing Back. The jacket has been worn some and is much softer than a new jacket, but it shows very few signs of wear. The main difference that I see between my jacket and the current version is that there is no badge tab sewn the chest of the coat (so it doesn’t look as much like a police/uniform jacket for someone who wants it for casual wear). There are two metal reinforced eyelets centered on the left breast pocket where you could wear a badge, but it is not like the set-up shown in the photo below from Taylor’s website. It has removable gold metal buttons on the pockets and epaulets.
