Not an expert on these as many here, but sure like the looks of them. Have my heart set on a civilian, say Ventura close to a 44L, but not holding my breath.

If it's not too much trouble, can i ask what is the provenance on this beauty?

Well, I'm the only owner. I've own this since Apr 2015. It fits well, but I like to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under mine, and then it gets a bit too snug. Here's the link to it on his page:

Well, they aren’t THAT long...

It’s more like 27 5/8 for the sleeves. I just got long, ape-like arms.

Pit to pit: 24 1/8

Sleeve: 27 5/8

Back from base of collar: 25 1/2

Shoulder to shoulder: 19 1/2
