For all A-2 nuts, Ebay is full of them all types all sizes

Just noticed,
many A-2´s offered right nowadays on Ebay, all premium makers, all sizes , all types (originals, repros, A-2 patched, blanks etc.).
Dream Prices, most of them 1/2 of the catalogue price or Military Show Price.
If you want to invest in an A-2 ist the right time...
Search "in the bay" England USA Germany.

Hey, thats crazy, Ive been looking over them Lately myself, what do you know!!! I havent checked for years because of all the forgeries.

I want a Schott style A-2 with that nice thick 70s Green Quilted Liner for its Nice vintage vibe. even though its more Civilian or police spec. than Military.

I totally gave up on Finding *my* right A-2, I Just dont want to Drop upwards of half a Grand to learn that Im not happy with the fit or hide.

Seems in general, mil repops have less appeal lately. The trend seems to be going towards vintage repops like Aero, LW, BK et al are doing. Even here, the lust has moved on...

From what I notice, a lot of very old branded (ELC, ALC etc) got surfaced recently. I guess some seller just realised that the current price of new jackets are so inflated that they try to fetch a bit more money. I guess some 'lucky' sellers actually sold their very old jackets for the same price as they paid 10-15yrs ago.

Guess the "WW2 movie romantic" phenomena is worn off, so all these jackets are of no more use.
Besides even the originals if not real stunners , dont sell for what they sold a few years ago.
Some WW2 originals sit there for ages prior they go for a dumped price.
Good times for buyers.

Sheer madness right now on the 'bay! Also, Etsy.com has some really nice original civilian jackets (though more BIN prices). Type in "horsehide jacket" and there it is!
