Five Star Leather Jackets

I am not trying to bash 5* .I like the company. But something just looks off on this one especially the shoulder looks like it was just cut shorter width wise and not modified to my provided measurement which was the same as the one of theier stock patterns. The sleeves are made to my specifications .The body width is the almost the same to my last order only 2 cm more room on chest and waist so no unusual proportions as far as I understand .Back length 2.5cm longer . And my body has weired proportions to be honest to bash myself .

I hoped I could relie at least a little bit on them .You should not have to hire a seamstress to order made to measure . Especially if you offer it openly .

I asked for a fit pic so let's see how it looks.

Edit : judging from this picture everything looks normal compared to one of my jackets .I dunno Why all front pictures look weired
Never trust the pics you receive. I take them with a massive grain of salt, but I do always want them. When I got these from Shawn I was very nervous:

When I took these I felt much better:

I actually have no idea how to size them .My last order had a length of 64.5 cm from the back to the front drop .I wanted it a bit longer and wrote Shawn 66cm including front drop .Then he wrote me some confusing stuff about look this can disrupt the front look .I was confused and scared of it being too short so I wrote him 65cm back length and 2cm front drop . He nodded it and it went into production. The shoulder looks really square .I only wanted the heron collar and pocket size . Everything else is the "stock" pattern with made to measure but the images on the website look more rounded .Even though they are stretched .

The cuffs last time were 2cm to long at 63 so I made them 2cm shorter .

I hope this is not a Willi wonka looking piece .Maybe I pay them for changing something but I think I messed up on this one.

I think the length including front drop is too confusing.
I give the back length without the collar and then the front drop. so e.g. 67 cm length, 2.5 cm frontdrop. and then it fits exactly as I want it.
I mention shoulders a thousand times that I want round shoulders and also draw in what the angle should be.

I wonder about the actual color of the pants Shawn is wearing. If you'd tell me they're orange I'd believe you.
LOL. I know!! He needs to take these hides into sunlight and shoot them. The one disappointment I have with this last one is it’s much more brown and far less russet. Small beef but this jacket would’ve been sooo cool in burgundy. Don’t get me wrong, I like the brown:)

I have to remind him of that although it appears in all pictures I've sent him.

I also have some mahagonie alcohol leather dye. I can remove some of the russet top coat/grain with very very fine sandpaper and overdye the light brown/tanned leather colour .That could make a nice effect if you do the sanding irregular so you have more or less burgundy coming through .

Do you use like a 1200 grit to sand? Just enough to remove the wax/paint?
