Well I love the RM Chambray shirt, glad I went with them instead of Mr. Freedom. Just determining if I keep this size 17 or exchange it for a size 16.
I would take it smaller. But I'm not that into oversized shirts either.
I've written somewhere before that it's useless if we think something is good or bad, because you alone have to like it. Do you like what you see in the mirror? Wonderful. Keep it. Otherwise not.

I’m torn. I probably wouldn't be able to button the top button if I sized down, and standard and strange don’t currently have size 16 in stock

I just got this jacket, and I love it! I finally found a bomber, and I think the fit is perfect!

I would say that too.
What size jacket is that? It's not often that you can find a jacket that fits your body size off the peg.
It's an XXL from Iron Heart. I know I have gone through many jackets this year, trying to reinvent my wardrobe, but when I saw Iron Heart released a limited edition L2B in navy, I had to try it. I can safely say I found my bomber jacket. I wouldn’t have had to try so many if Iron Heart made a parka.

I like Iron Heart better than Real McCoys now. The quality is impressive, the fit is fantastic, they are always hundreds of dollars cheaper than Real McCoys, and they aren’t precisely replicas—which, in my opinion, is a bonus. No one can accuse you of impersonating a service with this jacket. Plus, it allows for improvements on the original design.

Thanks. Good to know. As I am only slightly taller and heavier, what fits you should also fit me. Let's see ;)

Thought I’d give a used no-name shearling a try to see if I like the style but I fear this Size S is rather too big even with the sleeves turned up (even accepting that shoulder seams beyond the shoulder are sometimes ok!). Am I correct?

The sleeves turned up could/would look fine. It's the shoulder seams. They are just way too big, even for something to be worn in an 'oversized' or baggy style. IMO. If that's a small, I shudder to think what a large would look like.

While I suspect the true answer may be 37, which size is better for this lighting:

36

Or 38?

Excuse the outfit, I wasn’t expecting to try on jackets that day!

I think the 36 looks better, but I personally like my leather jackets to fit rather trim :)

How are the feeling while wearing the 36, can you move without it being way to restricting?

Agreed, that looks like an ideal fit. Are you able to layer a hoodie underneath?
I can layer a light sweater under it, probably a light hoodie, too. I have a Wrangler hoodie that is the same thickness as this jacket, though I swear it has the same diamond-quilted insulation inside. So it depends on the hoodie. A regular one, yes, but some heavy hoodies are basically jackets in their own right.

Agree. Both look good and with in the acceptable range (like no one would say it looks bad). 36 does looks better to my eye, but if you're gonna layer at all, prolly should go with 38.
