Hey, this is a rugged west "The marling" that I purchased over a year ago. Never really wore it to be honest as I am not sure it fits properly? What do you think?
Best judged if zipped up and you standing normal arms by your side but going by these pictures, the jacket looks uncomfortable.. I bet it feels tight in chest, shoulders armpits, doesn't it?

Brand new Premier Highwayman in Chestnut Badalassi. It’s comfortable zipped up, but the sleeves are kind of baggy and it feels boxy compared to my Sheene (which is too small). Thoughts?

I just got a Cal Leather CHP straight-zip with the original fur collar. I love everything about this jacket and the fit feels spot-on everywhere except for the sleeves which I worry are too long. Does the fit look okay? Also, all the zippers are Conmars and I was wondering if someone who knows more about Cals than me could help date it. Thanks!

Take pictures of the sleeves with them zipped up. Lets see how it fits then

With it zipped up, it would be longer than how I would want it, but there are lots of people who are OK with that length, especially with those who ride bikes.

I think it fits great mate! I love the length of the body and sleeves and the premier HWM is such a ****** pattern, really makes me want to hunt one down haha.

@agordon256 I know how hard those straight zipped CHPs are to get, but I think one size down would be perfect for you mate. Still works as is, and it's always nice to have some room under for layering when cold, super nice jacket though! a ****** classic for sure :D

I apologize for the delayed response. Here are some pictures of the sleeves zipped up all the way. As you can see they sit about halfway between my wrist and knuckles, but I feel like zipping them up makes the upper arm bag up a bit. What do you think?

The sleeves do not look as long with them zipped up. I can see the folds in the arms, but they are not particularly glaringly noticeable, although you may feel it.

Aero Aeromarine might be a tad bit too short and slightly to wide.. Worth sending back to UK from USA?

Length is good. It is a loose fit but honestly, I think that is intended by design. If you like the style, keep it. If you want a sniffer fitting jacket, settle for a different style. Btw, Lost Worlds offers a similar style, the national racer, worth checking them out if you don't want to bother with over sea shipping next time!

Who wore it better?

Edit to my above post. The Aero in brown has a back length 26. The MF Cossack in tan has length of 25.25. The MF looks and feel longer.. Thoughts and opinions on the MF, width and length differences?

I would say of the two the MF fits you and looks better on. I don't think the Aero width looks bad and would not be noticeable in normal wear, I would probably want an inch or so in the length if it were my jacket.

One thing I've learned for myself is if the fit/jacket doesn't feel great as soon as I put it on, at these prices, then I return it if I can else I'll only end up keeping it, not wearing it and then I'm selling it.

The MF worth down sizing?

The MF worth down sizing?

I can see the sleeves look long. What I can say is I have a natural ranch blouse and the sleeves on that were a little long when it arrived and now its worn in, got wet a couple of times and the sleeves are more tunneled they are a noticeably shorter and I wouldn't want them any shorter than they are today.
