Yes me too.I've already been wearing Woolly Pullies and look forward to months of sweater wearing, including fishermen's sweaters.

I'm not sure and may be wrong but I think Woolyback may be a name used (or previously used) by Outdoor Knitwear for WP's for the export market.

I am wearing my Roll Neck Chunkie today.Like you and like Steve I have three of these (two chunkies and one Gansey). I am thinking of asking Peter to do another Gansey. What colours do you have?

So, my very warmest sweater is a shawl collar wool fisherman's pull-over made by Woolyback of England, a plain, dark brown... It is rather heavy and thick, with multiple layers of thick, knitted wool about the neck and shoulders. It blows everything else I have out of the water...
Have you tried this email address for him? peter@souwestchunkies.com I have a feeling he may have changed his website a few months ago.Anyone ordered or heard from Peter lately? His website is not working.
I wore my Sou West Chunkie Gansey Roll Neck yesterday, as the weather is getting cooler.
That’s the style many German fishermen wear, yes, there still are some. Collar can also be worn as roll neck.
Cheers
