Mr. 'H' said:An excellent point indeed. I hadn't thought it through, just threw the idea out there (fuzzy front end stuff!) I guess what I like about the eBay is that the fonts are pre formated to fit the screen without re-adjusting (pinching and spreading). Also, the info is neatly divided up onto tabs at the top (readable ones!) Also the pictures are in a picture tab. Corollary to the FL? Simply a mobile version of the site, where it fits the screen and is easy to navigate. Surely vBullitin are working on this?
Never say I don't do you any favors....
Having waded through 15-20 different threads on mobile apps on the vbulletin support forums......there -might- be some potential for a mobile skin and a feature to autodetect which screen resolution you have and switch you to it....in the 4.0 series of vbulletin that is being worked on.
That said...the FL runs on 3.5.4 which is a legacy product.
Since none of us pay to use this fine site.....and depending on the needs etc..(which I do not know enough about....) vBulletin is not free...so upgrading. *shrugs*
Instead I think Zohar has the best possible solution if it would work for this.....with the tapatalk app except that again....Tapatalk requires vBulletin 3.7 or 3.8.
So realistically...I wouldn't count on any -it would be nifty' happening...
