Taping off the radio. Why did we do such things?

MATCH!!
I taped off the radio. I started when I was eight.
I have a huge collection of Top 40 Radio Hits on cassette from 1982-2002.

Casy Kasem's Countdown was my favorite Top 40 Radio Show.
My favorite Top 40 Radio Station was and still is Z-100.
WPLJ comes in a close second.

I also taped the Oldies Saturday/Sunday early evening countdowns from
my favorite but now defunct Oldie Radio Station, WCBS-FM.
The countdowns spanned the years between 1955-1975.

Now I bet you're asking if I ever listen to any of these tapes.
Up until recently they had been gathering "dust". But just the other day,
I listened to a few of them and actually enjoyed them.
Hey they are a "blast from my past".

One of these days I'll digitalize them. Just have to get the appropriate computer program
that will enable me to do the transfers.

MATCH

To this day blackberries are one of my very favorite things. Blackberries are down to earth and solid, a sturdy sweetness with its share of tart. My favorite jam is blackberry, and my favorite pie as well. Blackberries remind me of summer and childhood, a worldly innocence. You can take your all-American strawberries and your delicate raspberries, but leave me the blackberries.

This is sweetness with a "knowing edge"!!:)

Another match with the blackberries they are my all time favorite berry.

Let's put it this way: you're starting to even creep me out, a guy who was once known as "Reaper" around the college... lol

Oh come on!
That's a bit extreme wouldn't you say? Why do I creep you out?

Does this help?
