Hello all , I was wondering what everyone's favorite singers are from that great era ?

For example my favorite female singer is Mildred Bailey and my favorite male singer is Johnny Mercer.
I think it will be very interesting to see who wind's up " on top" !

Annette Hanshaw's channel on Pandora is simply divine! One of my very favorites.
Also have to mention Tommy Dorsey's "Music Goes Around and Around" makes me get up and dance!

Danish actor, dancer and singer who only made a handful of recordings in Germany with the Erhard Bauschke orchestra. To me he sounds a bit like early Wayne Newton.

Would Bobby Darin also fit within the time frame?
