Fall & Winter 1914-1915 Fashion Plates Of Stetson Hats

Well I got these plates and they are spectacular. There are 12 plates all together, but really its 6 plates that are doubled. In other words, there are two sets of 6. Whats interesting though is the fact that the first set has writing on them. At first I thought it was a salesman catalog, but after looking at the numbers, I don't think so. It may have belonged to Stetsons marketing department. I'm unsure. Each hat has a Stetson block number next to it along with measurements for brims with and without the curls. There are comments on the bow work, etc. This is REALLY interesting stuff. Enjoy )

I'm so glad that everybody likes the plates! Thanks so much for the kind words, everybody!! I was SO excited to open up the envelope and find those incredible pictures of the soft hats. I know I have seen some of those block numbers before, so I will have to check my list. The main reason that I was so happy to win the auction was because I wanted to make sure that these historical documents got posted on the lounge for everybody to see.

This fall/winter marks the 100th anniversary of these factory plates. The pictures do them no justice. In person, the detail in the photographs are great. They are fairly large in size as well.
