I'm on Facebook a lot more these days, so please look me up under Timothy Doran at Berkeley. I'd love to make y'all's acquaintance there. I'm in various Facebook societies of vintage interest; my Facebook page lists many of the vintage-oriented Facebook groups.
I'm also pretty active on the Facebook Global Atheist discussion group if any of you are interested.
(Don't be scared, I don't hate all Believers in Invisible Beings. My wife is Catholic.)
I have two Facebook accounts. One is real and the other is a fictitious account I set up one day on a lark for a little rubber skeleton that hangs from my rearview mirror in my automobile. I call him Lucky Eddy. It is sad to say but the fictitious account has more “friends” then my real one dose, but I am O.K. with that as I am quite selective with who I add on my real profile, as I mainly use it to keep in touch with old classmates and family. However, if any of you loungers would like to add my real profile (which I would gladly do!) you are more then welcome too, if you can figure out who I am via Lucky’s profile. I will drop hints and clues for anybody that is interested. A bit of a game, I suppose. I do love games. I don’t know I am bored, lets get something going if there are any game players out there…
First clue: My real name is not Luke, it actually starts with an “A” and is Hebrew for “the breath of life”.
Lucky Eddy is a member of the facebook lounge group for those who are inerested...
Just joined the group myself! Had a facebook account for a while now but never used it. And yes- I agree with the majority... Myspace seemed like a giant popularity contest. I had an account for 2 and a half years and finally deleted it a month ago.
I just joined Facebook last night. I wanted to have some way of keeping in touch with old friends. I just joined the FL group, too! I'm there as Eric W. Sisco.
I have a personal Facebook account under the same handle I use here -- skyvue -- and one devoted to my small online business, which features T-shirts with vintage graphics.
I'd love it if some FL'ers would "fan" that page -- helps with the viral marketing, don't you know.
Just do a Facebook search on "cladrite" and it'll turn up.
Yes, that is wonderful, but you might also consider adding the rest of us as "friends" on Facebook if you like.
Again, I'm Timothy Doran in Berkeley. Please all of you, once again, feel free. I have met many Loungers in person and I always enjoy meeting more. I have met about 30 and so far no turkeys!
