Well, it does measure a little large for a 1/8. I'm a 7 1/4 and I can wear it. Its got some give to it. Just depends on how low you want it to sit or if you want to give it a slight stretch.

I have the same Whippet, though mine is not in this condition, and the felt and ribbon colors are wonderful. The winner of this one will be tickled.
