Cool - thanks. Yeah, I'm hoping for a good rain that I can go out in!Congrats! One of the nicest leathers around, if you are after a natural hide.
Break-in isn’t too wild. Mine took one or two drizzles, and was pretty malleable after that. If you want to speed up the process, you can roll the jacket into a “sausage” and kneel on it. The Chore-Jacket has no zipper, so you cannot do any damage. Wearing it “naturally” for a few weeks will do the trick as well, of course.

Been on the hunt for one myself but thought they were sold out.Hi all - recently purchase the Kakishibu Horsehide Chore Shirt from The Shop Vancouver.
Any experience with the break-in period for this leather? I know it's going to be stiff for awhile, but just wondering what y'all are experiencing?
Thanks!
The ghost of Hoosierdaddy just passed by with his spray bottle and said: "what was that, plebe?" while Stu nodded in approval. And as for the rain, leather jackets are not supposed to get wet, least of all ones that are made from vegetable tanned leather. There isn't a single reason, let alone benefit, of getting your leather jacket wet.
