If I already have makeup on when I'm going to exercise then I gently remove the foundation with a makeup remover wipe (like baby wipes but for your face!), leaving the eye makeup on. Then afterward I just redo the foundation and powder, touch up the eye makeup, and go about my business.

This is why I exercise at home... I prefer in the morning or in the evening, both when I am make up less and can just take a nice shower afterwards and either start my day or get ready for bed.

I am afraid I have no good advice for you, since you seem to be on quite a plan, and I see how it will get in the way of the hair and make up, for sure!

Good luck on your exercise and goals :)

For heavy workout I put my hair into dry pincurls and cover them with a thin scarf. If I use bobby pins instead of pincurls clips that even fits under a riding helmet. After workout I change the scarf for a fresh one, with the front hair peeking out and rolled all pretty. When any dampness from sweating has fully dried again, I remove scarf and pins and brush out. With multiple workouts at day or other strenous tasks I'd just keep wearing pincurls and a scarf until you want to go out at night. I suppose that would have been a common thing to do back then as well.

I don't think sweat is gross, it's just water with a few mineral salts really - the water evaporates and the salts can mostly be brushed out.

For lighter workout I roll the front and put the back into a hair net or snood to preserve the curls.

In both cases I make sure to keep my head dry under the shower afterwards, either by using a hand held shower head, a shower cap, or both.

My makeup is waterproof (tinted lashes, permanent eye liner, Maybelline Superstay Lipstick, creme blush, creme concealer, powder) so I can carefully rinse my face and blot dry without rubbing. All I need to reapply is powder and Superstay top coat and I'm ready to go.
