New blog post!
I have shared a boolket on telefone installment

StrayCat, are you going to get a rotary? We have one and I love it. Granted, it's a candlestick phone and weighs a ton, so conversations aren't long and drawn out, but that's not a bad thing. It's an early 1930's, Western Electric with a bullnose and a separate ring box; all original parts exept for the cloth on the cord and that it has been rewired to work in modern day phone lines. What was really interesting was how friends who had never "experienced" a phone like this handled it. One put her fingers in the dial and began to dial counterclockwise. She couldn't understand why it wouldn't dial and proclaimed it a "left handed phone." Another one put the ear piece to his mouth and the mouth piece to his ear and wondered why he couldn't hear anyone on the other line. And to make life even sweeter (well, more amusing for me anyway), these friends are well respected attorneys who luckily, have just as tremendous senses of humor too.

As a matter of fact, if you've taken a closer look - it is NOT a rotary phone. It only looks like one. You see, unfotunately we're on the dialing-system that uses digital codes, so rotary phones are no longer supported (you can't "press one after the beep" - since you CAN NOT press any number on a rotary phone) lol So, I had to opt for a "look alike" :D

I'm back from my winter break hiatus. I got a new camera with a tripod. Hopefully I'll soon be able to take decent pictures.

Felicia, you got a great deal on that Lilli Ann coat and it looks fabulous on you!

Well, I had to park Judy for several weeks during my job hunt but I had success and start a new position next week. Hopefully, it will leave me some time to continue to post Judy's travels abroad! I've finally posted today... it's July 3, 1958 and Judy has arrived in Stockholm:
