I am in the process of starting a blog called living in hollywoodland, just to chronicle all the surreal, amazing things that happen in Hollywood on a daily basis. I will also chronicle my daily 1920s outfits and the 1920s/30s places I frequent here in LA
Black Dahlia,
I've just finished reading your blog post on charms. It was lovely. Jumping-jack charm fascinated me, 'cause I say nothing like it here. And Sandys Vintage Charms had so many inspiring little trinkets.
You wrote a good one! :thumb:
I'm really giving it some consideration. I have an outrageous amount of vintage hats from the 20s and 30s that I think I could build a kick arse blog around with pics of me in the hats in different settings. I even registered a domain name for it. Blogging is a lot of work so it isn't a decision to be taken lightly.
This month I am blogging about taking care of yourself and featuring lots of my vintage charm school books...including some hilarious vintage exercises
So I started a blog--my first "formal" experience with internet sharing. After some of my friends from school asked me if I had one I decided to make a fashion/vintage sewing blog to catalogue and share everything I've been learning, and to raise my self esteem a bit since I am very camera shy. Anyway, if anyone's interested at all it's http://olivebranchvintage.blogspot.com/. The "Olive" comes from my name--Olivia. Wish me luck
My latest blog post is filled with news and lots of lovely Melbourne vintage ladies (we met for afternoon tea at a tea room that has been open since 1892). https://missfairchildscharmschool.wordpress.com/
I have a Tumblr.
It is about a silent comedian - I write about my project - Restoring the films and history of this comedian, but I also post images of various antique gadgets, and of course a lot of film memorabilia as well as films. http://alstjohn.tumblr.com/
Closet sale going on now at Vibrant Vintage!
Peruse my mix of vintage and new at my Vibrant Vintage Shop.
(Also: finally got my domain name set up correctly! Happy day. )
I've been a little slack with mine lately due to work/lack of daylight hours/sickness, but it's at http://dearmrrabbit.blogspot.com.au
Sort of about my vintage journey and just general personal style!
