I fall asleep n less than a minute after my head hits the pillow.
:D
My wife drinks coffee all day long, and can drift off to sleep in mid-sentence. lol She can usually fall asleep quickly, but her problem is that she quite often doesn't realize she's been asleep. She'll sleep for an hour or more, then wake up complaining that she can't fall asleep.

Not really.
I found the more I drank, the more relaxed I got.
My turning point was 6 cups, after that I started to get more tired.
By cup number 8, the coffee had no effect.
Now I'm on something (prescribed) that gives me energy, so I don't drink coffee anymore.
Or anything with caffeine.

James, I've had that issue before.
Little House or The Waltons, along with sleepy time tea, is good therapy for too much caffeine. :D

You drink far too much coffee if that much coffee doesn’t affect you. lol lol

I usually watch I Love Lucy episodes. I fall asleep in ten minutes.

I was drinking 14 cups of coffee, before I moved to my current job years ago.
Starting out, I couldn't find anyone that drank as much as I did, so I had to cut down on purpose.
I built back up when a coworker bought a 36 cup "urn" style maker, with the spout.
Well somebody had to help him drink all that coffee, especially when we'd bring various types of dark roast blends to try out. :D
What's funny, is that this guy had the maker on a file cabinet behind him.
He'd lean back in his chair, cup in hand, and push on the spout, thus filling the cup without leaving his desk.
On occasion, a few drops of hot coffee would hit him on the bald spot, and you'd hear him cry out "doh!"
Sadly this guy retired 2 years ago, and the coffee maker gave out, thus cutting down my coffee habit
once again.
