Surely their owners were shopping for devices to attach all of that phony baloney "time machine" hardware to them.

If it weren't for it's use in the Back to the Future movies, I'm convinced the DeLorean would have been relegated to nothing more than a footnote in the "novelty/curiosity" section of American automotive history.

Well, I went and looked at the limo yesterday. To say it was a POS is kind. Rust through on the fender bottoms, paint on the hood and trunk messed, even bubbles on the edge of the trunk lid. The vinyl hippie top was messed and there was obviously rust under it. :doh: He wouldn't budge on price either. It wasn't running and the registration was two years past due. Got some pictures for Tom but I haven't uploaded them yet.

The guy must have about fifteen Cadillacs on that property---all over the place. Four or five are limos. Weirdly, he pulled up in a Mercedes. :doh: He dove me up to where the car was. The most uncomfortable interior I have ever been in. Felt like getting into a tin can---no room!

I have looked at at least 50 cars from Craigslist and a host of other such sites. I bought one. That certainly tells you something.
The guy said he would pull the engine from it as a spare for his 75 Cadillac rather than sell it for less. Looks like that is what is going to happen. lol lol
Oh and I found some dope looking for the limo on craigslist because the listing expired. So I sent him the guy's phone number. :rofl: Let him learn like I did.
