I was a good boy and sent my gal some flowers at work today.
She was quite surprised.
Bravo Tom! :eusa_clap

Mine doesn't cook either.
Oh sure, toast and eggs, but complicated meals with recipes? Uh no.
I often joke that I married a girl who can't cook, and who's dowry was a Dodge Neon.
Must be true love. :D

Nice flowers, Tom. Are roses her favorite?

Carnations, too. Does she like them? I used to; now I associate the smell with funeral homes.
There is a Michael Kors perfume that has overpowering notes of carnation. I asked the perfume lady (very technical term) if it was carnations. She confirmed, surprised, and asked me how I knew that. I blurted out, "Smells like the funeral home I worked at."
Her coworker thought it was hysterical.

I try my best lol

I never thought I'd end up with one who doesn't cook, or iron, for that matter.

It's usually a red flag for me, too, but I'm hoping that if she spends some time with Ma, that she can teach her some cooking skills. I'm not too picky.

I don't know what her favorite is. I picked these, because they looked the most romantic, you know. I'm sure I'll be finding out more, as I plan for Valentine's Day. I'm gonna spoil her rotten, I think.

I reckon carnation is still better than embalming fluid.

Lost me after 10 seconds.
I don't have a wifey, I have a financier. ;)
I'll cook if that's the case.
Although I did see her use a knife today, to cut up meat for steak fajitas tonight.
So I'm suspecting she has some knowledge of how a kitchen works....

I didn't see iron Tom until after I posted.
Mine doesn't do that either, or sew.
See, I had a grandmother teach me that.
I can sew, hem, iron, and put a crease in sleeves or pants legs that could be considered a lethal weapon. :D
At one time I had my own steam press, but I eventually wore it out.

Embalming fluid? Hmmm, What brand, and is it on tap at the local dive?

Not quite. She's financing the next car, with no monthly payments.
I'm waiting till the spring to start looking.
Still looking at the Toyota Highlander.
No GM for me, and while I like Ford (my Fleet is 40% Ford) their Escape is over priced.
Plus the new body style (2013-2014) have a "software" issue.
I don't need anything with wheels having a "software" issue. :eeek:
Honestly, it all comes down to comfortable seats as one of my requirements.
When I take long trips, I don't want to sit on a rock hard seat like what I have in the Saturn Vue.

VT, a coworker wears a perfume that smells like BO.
Now I thought on the first day "well maybe she just didn't shower today."
Then next day I realized she had paid to smell that way.
It's not like she has a knit cap on her head to cover unwashed hair, and smells of Patchouli.
She dresses really nice and cares about her appearance.
I'm still not sure why she chose that perfume, whatever it is.

Financing a Toyota wouldn't work for me. It would at least have to be a Cadillac to start with. Then I could live without the maid but the cook would still have to be part of it :p

My wife can cook to an extent, it's just quicker if I do it.
I'd get a Cadillac if it wasn't a GM.
Older yes, new? No.
Toyota is the only foreign suv I'll buy.
Although Lexus is the same thing, I'll look around this spring and see what's available with the options we want.

23 lol

She hasn't had a day off since last Tuesday, and won't have one off until this upcoming Wednesday. I just went and picked her up from work today. She works a lot, and is a hard worker. Gotta try to get some time together when we can, though!

You work 6 days a week and still and cause a ruckus, you must be young!:eusa_clap
